What a blessing it was growing up next door to the Maloney family. Chris Maloney was a great man, who will always be missed. May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I am a co-worker of Chris Jr. and remember how fondly he spoke of his father. Maybe Chris Sr. can give his beloved Met's a little help from above. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

Mrs. Nora Smyth posted a condolence

To my sister Breda, my nephews Christopher, Peter, my nieces Elizabeth and Anne and my grand-nephews and grand-nieces, I extend my deepest sympathies on the loss of Chris, a loving husband, an adoring father and grandfather.
Chris always made the Maloney house a home from home for the Smyth family when we travelled over from Carlow.
I will fondly cherish Chris's warm céad míle fáilte and his great sense of humour and fun. Chris never lost his irish accent or his interest in his native Mayo. I have nothing but the sweetest memories of my visits to Sunnyside.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all. Ní beidh a leithéad ann arís.
Love Nora Smyth and family, Carlow.

To The Maloney Family.
We are sending you all our Deepest Condolences on the sad loss of Chris Maloney. We are all devasted at his passing & will miss him terribly. Mum, Madeline Gallagher, Chris's only living sister, will miss him so much. They had got very close over the past number of years & chatted every week & when it came to Mayo Football, they had many discussions & enjoyed when Mayo would succeed to All-Ireland Finals. Mum will miss him so much & as she says I have nobody left now to talk to, about the old days & their Family life at home. We are all sending you our love & know we are with you all in spirit - only wish we could be there.
Lots of love to you all From Aunt Madeline, Uncle John, Niece Helen & Colin from Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. Ireland xxxxx

To Breda and Family. Sincerely sorry to hear of Uncle Christie's passing. He was obviously much loved by you all and it is always sad to lose someone you love at any time of year but particularly more poignant during this festive season. We will pray for you all and you will be in our thoughts over the next few days until he is laid to rest. Hard to believe that there is only one sibling now on our Mum and Dad's side of the family. Madeline on Dad's and Phil on our Mums. Sending our condolences to you all. With love from Gabrielle (Gabby), Jimmy, Daniel and Connor. XXXX
