Obituary of Munro Gabler

Munro Gabler, age 93, of Miller Place, NY, formerly of Sunnyside, NY died Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. Charles Hospital, Pt. Jefferson, NY. Munro was born October 31, 1920 in New York City. He is the son of the late James Dunlap Gabler and Constance Munro Gabler. Throughout his life he was an actor, theatrical carpenter, and stagehand with Local #4 and Local #1. He was a First Lieutenant, US Army Air Corp, serving in World War II. He is survived by his children, Laurence Gabler and Deneen Gabler Stoessel. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ricky, Craig, Dene, Alexandre, Laurence Anthony, Andrea, and Nicholas and his great grandchildren Amanda, Craig Jr., Ashley, Isabel, Connor, Addyson, Ian, Valentina, and Charles. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, February 8 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY 11104. Military Honors at 2:30PM Prayer Service at 3:30PM Masonic Service at 8:00PM
