Deepest sympathy to the Sullivan and extended family and Jim’s many friends. Jim and Eileen were kind and generous to Morgan and I as new immigrants to New York. They took us under their wing and helped us in every way possible. I can never think of Jim without Eileen -they were such a devoted couple. May Jim rest in peace with his beautiful Eileen.

I live on the same block in Sunnyside as Shaymus, he always would say Hi to me when I would see him out walking. His wife Eileen would stop and talk with me.
Rest in Peace Shaymus

It was with great sadness that I learned of Jim's passing. His generosity and kindness was unwavering. Jim and my aunt Eileen were very supportive of me during my summer spent in NY and helped me to get work during my time there in Imperial House. My thoughts and prayers are with him, he will be sadly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Jim's passing. He was such a kind and generous person. I have many fond memories of Jim. I will always cherish the wonderful holiday he and my aunt Eileen provided for me in New York while my brother and I got a summer job working at a bar in Sunnyside. It was such a special time, and his warmth and hospitality made it unforgettable.
I also remember with great fondness his visits to Kerry. It was a joy to see him enjoying himself and sharing stories during his Irish holiday.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with Jim during this time.
With deepest sympathy.
