Obituary of Michael S. Purdon

Michael S. Purdon, formerly of Long Island City, died January 22, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital of Honesdale , PA. Michael was born December 8, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY. Beloved son of the late James and Rosemarie Purdon. Loving husband of Kelly (nee Lynch). Cherished father of Michael and his wife Abbey, and Daniel. Dear brother of Daniel and his wife Caroline, James and his wife Colleen, Terence and his wife Joann, and the late Marilyn. Michael is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, January 27 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
