Obituary of Patricia Shalvey

Patricia Shalvey (nee Murphy) died on January 15, 2022 at her home in Woodside. Patricia was born March 11, 1945 in Co. Longford, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late James (Jim). Loving mother to James and his wife Kim, and Farrell. Cherished grandmother to Connor and Matthew. Dear sister to Teresa Murphy, Aine Casey and the late Anne Reynolds. She is also survived by loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 19 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:45AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, in Woodside. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Patricia sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. donors@stjude.org.
