Eleanor Shortes (nee Matyi) of Airmont, NY, formerly of Sunnyside, NY, died Monday, February 19, 2018. Mrs. Shortes was born August 8, 1926 in Elizabeth, NJ.
Daughter of the late Alexander & Elizabeth. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of William & his wife Julie. Cherished grandmother to Kristen.
Prayer service will be held 11:30 am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale at 1PM.
