Obituary of Joseph Argent
Joseph A. Argent, age 85, of Sunnyside, died suddenly Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Joe was born May 19, 1932 in New York, NY. He retired as a postal worker from the United States Post Office. He is a Veteran of the United States Army, 4th Degree member of the Dr. Thomas Dooley/Fr McGivney Council #430, Knights of Columbus.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine. Joe is survived by his loving children, Karen (Jim), Joseph & Ken (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Kyle & Vinny. Dear brother of Ann Sauter (Carl). He was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews & friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 16 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
The Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 AM on Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, after the Mass.
