James M. Walker, age 47, of Sunnyside, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Mr. Walker was born July 16, 1970 in New York, NY. Beloved son of James and Teresa (nee Deane). Husband of Kathleen (nee McGowan). Loving father of Caitlin, Donovan, Susan Vasquez (David) & James. Cherished grandfather of Xavier & Devin. Dear brother of John, Maureen Dennehy (Peter), Michael (Valerie) and Teresa A. Buckmaster (Robert). Uncle of Colleen, Nicole, James, Robert Matthew & Bridget. Visitation will be Friday, July 21 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Woodside, following the mass.
