Although I moved from Flushing in the 4th grade, I have great memories of "roof hopping" and other mischief with Gary, my brother, and Ryan Nevins. I learned of Gary's passing last year but was thinking of St. Kevin's Elementary and the fun times we had living right down the street on 193rd. RIP Gary

I knew Gary years ago when we were kids. I spent a lot of time at their house and use to play little league with his brother George. We loved the movie Rad and me, Gary and George went all out and got BMX racing suits and helmets and started our own rad racing team. It was a time I look back fondly on as life was so much simpler then. I just learned of his passing last night. My heart goes out to his family. Gary, wherever you are I hope you have finally found peace. Rad Racing Team forever!!!
