Obituary of Ann Hudick

Ann Hudick, age 93, of Sunnyside, NY died of natural causes on October 24, 2016 in Reading, PA. Ann was born June 14, 1923 in Elizabeth, PA. She came to NYC in 1938 and worked in the restaurant industry for over 60 years. She was an employee of The Sta-Wel Nutrition Center in the 1970's when the health food craze was just beginning. Her most recent employ was at Rosen's Deli, TK, and The Red Lantern Coffee Shop. She loved her regular customers and thought of them as extended family. She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Hudick; son, Harry Hudick, Jr.; and daughter, JoAnn Koshinsky. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren Richard and Michael Koshinsky; great-grandchildren Sara Koshinsky, Richard Koshinsky and Robert Koshinsky. She is also survived by her loving sister-in-law, Rose Nescot, niece, Lori Cress, great-niece, Cristina Scalet, Cousin Debbie Malina and many other loving family members. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Mass service will be conducted at 9:45am on Monday at The Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord at 228 N. 12th Street Brooklyn, NY. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, NY.
