Uncle Pats and Aunt Maureen treated us kids, now adults, like their own. I remember going on so many outings with them, and I loved how they always made it special. Whether it was to see their Christmas display on their front lawn, a trip to Bear Mountain, going for ice cream, seeing zoo/circus animals, or just visiting at Nana's, we always enjoyed Uncle Pats' company. One of the most vivid memories I have of Uncle Pats is when he came all the way out to Jersey to come to Giovanni's first birthday party. Seeing him with Aunt Maureen at my son's party brought tears to my eyes. It was like reliving my own childhood for those brief hours. Uncle Pats, my Godfather, I love you so much, and I have been blessed to have you in my life. May you rest in peace knowing that you were loved so very much by all of us, and you will be greatly missed, but forever remembered. Aunt Maureen, I've loved you then and always will.
