Luz B Martinez, age 90, of Briarwood, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Hillside Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Martinez was born January 28, 1926 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. Beloved wife of the late Eduardo. Loving mother of Eda Amezquita, Betty Martinez (Benjamin) and Eddie Martinez. Cherished grandmother of Joey Soto, Lisa Martinez and Lauren Reyes (Angel). Great grandmother of Alexandria and Joshua. Dear sister of Lydia Martinez and Conchita Mercado. Visitation will be Friday, September 9 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held at 7PM. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, in Linden, NJ at 11:30 am.
