Obituary of Dorothy A. Huber

Dorothy A. Huber, age 93, died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at home in Long Island City. Dorothy was born February 20, 1923 in Queens, NY. She was a Retired Executive Assistant Secretary at Calvary Cemetery of Woodside. She was also a member of the Rosary Altar Society at St. Raphael's Church. Beloved wife to the late Fred. Loving mother to Jack and his wife Maryann, Tom and his wife Nancy, Patti Anne and Billy and his wife Susanne. Cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 5 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Dorothy's Memory to the Food Pantry at St. Raphael's Church 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY.
