Eugene was a friend of my mom & dad, Tina and Tony Quaranta. They used to live across the street from him in Sunnyside. They moved to Long Island 10 years ago but kept in touch via phone calls and even got together for lunch once in a while. Dad asked me last night to see if I could find anything out because he hasn't been able to get in touch with him and upon calling his phone recently, he found out it was disconnected. Needless to say we were very sad to see his name here. Dad kept saying why didn't he call and tell us he was sick. If you could give us any information, I can't find an obituary anywhere. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. I know Eugene was a friend to all on their old block and he will be missed. May he Rest In Peace!!!
