John F. Donahue, age 81, of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Bellevue Hospice of New York City. John was born June 25, 1934 in Queens, NY. He was a retired Dockworker for Locals #641 and #807. Beloved husband of the late Eileen nee McBride. Loving father of John and his wife Stacie, James, Robert and his wife Gloria, Michael, and Eileen Herbert and her husband Daniel. Cherished grandfather of Erin and Megan. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Anthony RCC, Brooklyn, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale following the Mass.
