Jesus A. Navoa, age 84, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at home in Elmhurst. Jesus was born December 25, 1931 in Manila, Philippines. He was a Veteran of the Philippines Navy, he was trained by the US Navy Seal Special Forces Unit. He retired as a cook for the NYC Board of Education. Beloved Husband of Liwayway nee Cabiling. Loving Father of Charito Del Rosario (Jose), Nerissa Navoa, Jesus Jr. (Lian) and the late Jesmel Navoa (Ellen). Cherished Grandfather of Jason and Jaycee Del Rosario, Ysabel & John Erick Navoa, Charlene, Melanie & Jan Erik Navoa. Dear Great Grandfather of Gabriella, Vivian, Zoe & Alexandra. Brother of Constancia & Laura, in the Philippines. Visitation will be Thursday, February 11 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM and Friday, February 12 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. The Funeral Service will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, in Kew Gardens, at 11:15.
