Azucena Holguin, age 68, of Sunnyside, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Mt. Sinai Hospital of Queens of Astoria, NY. Azucena was born June 1, 1947 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Beloved wife of Bolivar. Loving Mother of Soraya Jose and her husband Robert, Vanessa Holguin and her husband Marwin Perez, Susy Katsavrias and her husband Gus and Christian Holguin and his wife Mirna. Cherished Grandmother of Celeste Perez, Angelina Holguin, Shayla Perez, Madison Perez, Alexis Jose and Milania Jose. Dear Brother of Roberto Gomez and Nelly Gomez. Visitation will be Friday, November 27 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, East Elmhurst following the Mass.
