He served in the Navy during World War II. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy G (nee Smith). Devoted father of Elizabeth and the late Robert Finan. Dear brother of Donald Finan and Theresa Martin. Visitation will be Sunday, October 4 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Mary's Church (Winfield), 70-31 48th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla on Monday, October 5 at 11:45 am.
