Joan Restilla (Ontengco), of Woodside, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at Dawn Greene Hospice. Joan was born October 19, 1932 in New York City. She was a retired Secretary for NYC Board of Education. She is the daughter of the late Faustino and Alice (O'Brien) Ontengco. Wife of the late Anthony. Beloved Mother of Valerie Fata of Floral Park, NY and Carolyn Manley and her husband Richard of Sugar Loaf, NY. Cherished Grandmother of Gina, Lauren, Brian, and Nicole. Loving Great-Grandmother of Adam, Noah, and Hamza. Sister of the late Frank, Jack, and Eugene. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, December 26 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass burial will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
