August Pedota, age 61, of Woodside, NY, died suddenly on Thursday, December 4, 2014. August was born November 14, 1953 in Queens, NY.

He is a member of Local 1909 Longshoreman's Union.

Beloved son of Mary J. (DiGiorgio) and the late Dominick J. Pedota. Loving father of Dominick and Christopher. Dear brother of Raymond, Mary Jo Reilly, Elizabeth, Richard, and Joanne Grillo.

Visitation will be Monday, December 8 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village at 11:30 am.
