Obituary of Roseann Orlando

Roseann Orlando, age 67, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at her lifelong residence in Long Island City, NY. She was born on January 19, 1946, a daughter of the late Santo and Rose Orlando. Roseann was a very kind and caring soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. Roseann is survived by her sister-in-law, Kay Orlando; nieces Annemarie Perrin and Gail Sakmann; nephews Christopher Orlando and Michael Orlando. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, godchildren, friends, and colleagues who played very important roles in her life. Roseann is preceded in death by her brother Frank Orlando. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Roseann on Monday, October 6th at 10:00AM, at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (43-19 30th Ave). Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited and may call at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home in Sunnyside, NY (43-07 Queens Blvd) on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
