Obituary of Mary Frances O'Mahoney

Mary Frances O'Mahoney (nee O'Neill), age 76, of Sunnyside, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home. Mary was born July 26, 1937 to Michael O'Neill and Mary Culloty O'Neill. She was an administrative assistant in the Social Service Department at ACTWU, UNITE (American Clothing and Textile Workers Union). She is the beloved mother to Margaret (Peg) Puppa, and her husband James, John and his wife Mary Beth, Michael and his wife Kelley, Mary Frances Reilly and her husband James, and Stephen. She is also survived by her dear sister Margaret Walsh. She is the cherished grandmother to Robyn, Kevin, Christopher, Daniel, Erin, Justin, Skye, Nicholas, and Charles, as well as loving nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. The funeral mass will be held 10:00AM on Friday, June 20, 2014 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx following the mass.
