Joseph A. Santangelo, age 83, of Woodside, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Forest Hills Hospital of Forest Hills, NY. Joseph was born March 18, 1931 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late Guiseppe and the late Maria (Baione) Santangelo. He is retired from NYC Department of Sanitation. Beloved husband of Susan (Fanelli). Devoted father of Joseph and Christopher. Cherished grandfather of Randel, Joseph, and Jayden. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the mass. Visitation will be Monday, May 12 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM and Tuesday, May 13 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
