Margaret M. Daly "Peggy", age 85, of Woodside, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Stewart Manor, NY. Margaret was born May 23, 1928 in Stakehill, Boherbue, Co. Cork Ireland. She is the oldest of 5 children of the late Jeremiah and the late Ellen Daly (Lyons) Breen. She is the beloved wife of Michael J. Daly. Devoted mother of Eileen Delaney and her husband Mark and Kathleen Gorman and her husband Chris. Dear sister of Nellie Breen in Ireland. She is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. Teresa RCC, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
