Obituary of John Hrusovsky

John Hrusovsky, age 86, of Elmhurst, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Forest Hills Hospital of Forest Hills, NY. John was born April 7, 1927 in Valtasur, Czechoslovakia. He is the son of the late John and the late Mary (Studenc) Hrusovsky. He is survived by his wife Lottie (Hryniewska) Hrusovsky He served in the Army during World War II from 06/29/1945 to 02/17/1947. He worked as the Personal Aide to the Secretary General of the United Nations. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45am on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Mary's Of Winfield Church, 70-31 48th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx on Monday, February 10 at 12:30 pm. Visitation will be Sunday, February 9 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. In Lieu of Flowers, the family would like donations be made to: "Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter".
