Mary Elizabeth Hartwig, age 89, of Woodside, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital of Islip, NY. Mary was born April 22, 1924 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Barnett) Sembler. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of William, Robert, John, Joseph and the late Elizabeth Ann. Dear sister of Alice Curtis, Margaret Howley, and the late Joseph Sembler, Anna Washkevich, William Sembler, and Robert Sembler. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Sebastians RCC, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY on Monday, February 10 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be Sunday, February 9 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D.
