Dan Pantor died on December 23, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with ALS.

Dan was born on September 21, 1950 in Bucharest, Romania and emigrated to Queens, NY in 1985. He was educated and trained as an electrical engineer and then transitioned into accounting.

Dan served as a tax practitioner for over 30 years in Sunnyside, NY, serving thousands of clients. Many of those clients became dear friends.

Dan was an avid tennis player, skier, and champion track-and-field athlete. He also loved collecting wristwatches and making travel plans. He often reminisced about his time in Argentina (particularly Bariloche), Italy, and Scotland.

Dan is survived by his wife Ortansa, his daughter Andreea, and Andreea's partner Anthony.

Dan's Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY).

The Burial of Ashes will take place in the Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. (Woodside, NY).
