Today, we mourn the loss of our dearly beloved family friend Derek McMahon in New York, we reflect on the moments shared, the laughter echoed, and the love exchanged. Dereks absence leaves a void that words cannot fill, but his legacy of kindness and warmth will forever resonate in the hearts he touched. I will miss the calls, the letters and the amazing stories Derek would tell of the life of a Dublin man living in New York. I will never forget you Derek.
