Dorothy Jean Gebhardt died on September 1,2024 at Sapphire Nursing Home in Flushing. She was born on November 26, 1955 in Astoria, NY. Dorothy grew up in Sunnyside, NY and attended Sunnyside Reformed Church. Dorothy is the loving daughter of Arthur R. Gebhardt (deceased) and Roberta A Gebhardt. Loving sister of Nancy & Jack Mangan, Lorraine Jordan, Carole & Jerry Andrews and Andrew & Sue Gebhardt. She was the adoring Aunt to Jessica Mangan & Jeremy Wittmann, Caitlin Mangan, Tavia & Matt Dowden, and Kenneth Mangan & Stephanie Stahl. The Special Great Aunt to Aidan, Chase & Emma Wittmann, Denver & Brantley Dowden and Alexander & Sophia Mangan. Visitation will be Thursday, September 5 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY with Pastor Judith Gorsuch. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens on Friday, September 6 at 11:30 am.
