Obituary of Maria D. Dayre

Maria (Mary) D. Dayre (nee D'Altorio) died on August 27, 2024 at her home in Woodside. Maria was born April 17, 1939 in Long Island City, NY. Mary was a longtime active parishioner of St. Teresa RCC and a member of the St. Teresa rosary society. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Dayre. Loving mother of Bob Dayre and his wife Margaret, Joanne Hughes and her late husband John, Mike and his wife Cindy and Linda Dayre Williams and her husband Oscar. Cherished grandmother of Marianna, Francesca, Nicolette, Peter; Jessica & Jack Hughes, Jonathan, Michael, Matthew, Cameron and Nicholas Dayre; Jalen & Joseph Williams. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation hours will be Monday, September 2 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside.
