Obituary of Lidilia Morales

Lidilia Morales was born Lidilia Fernandez Aguilar in Manto, Honduras on December 23, 1934 to José Maria Fernández Romero and María de Jesús Aguilar Antúnez. She came to the United States in October 1962 and married Roberto Morales on June 12, 1965. She always proclaimed her love to God and was a staple of Saint Sebastian's Church in Woodside, Queens. Lidilia always had a smile and words of advice for anyone who needed it. A loving mother, grandmother and friend to all, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Lidilia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Salvador Fernández Aguilar and Pedro Rigoberto Fernández Aguilar. She is survived by her children Sandra DiGicomo, Frank Morales, and Roberto Morales; grandchildren Jennifer Presta, Tatiana Morales, Liam Morales, and Lily Morales; her great-grandchildren John Michael Presta and Michael Presta; and her siblings José Maria Fernández Aguilar, Rosa Carlota Fernández Aguilar, and Reina de Jesús Fernández Aguilar. Visitation will be Thursday, August 22 from 4-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 am on Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, East Elmhurst on Friday, August 23 at 12:15 pm.
