Frank J. McCarthy died May 21, 2024. Frank was born December 7, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. Retired teacher and coach from Aviation High School, Long Island City.

Loving son of the late Frank W. and Marion McCarthy (Mahoney). Beloved father of Margaret Mary McCarthy, Michael McCarthy and Francine Sakmann. Cherished grandfather of Rhiannon Sakmann. Dear brother of Kathryn Rita McCarthy. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 24 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside with Military Honors.
