Obituary of Enith D. Parra

Enith D. Parra Ramirez, age 82, of Woodside, New York, passed away on Friday, March 8th, 2024, after a short, but tough battle with Ovarian Cancer. Enith was born in Tarso Antioquia, Colombia to Ana Rita Ramirez Tabares & Samuel Ramirez Ramirez on February 18th, 1942. She loved to draw when she was a little girl. She enjoyed all genres of music, and she made sure her home was always playing something. With her multitude of records, tapes, CD's, and of course the radio. Enith was always happy to go out, and enjoy some food & drinks. Let's never forget her Famous Salsa, Guacamole & Sangria which were her staples & enjoyed by so many. Her biggest accomplishments in Life were her Children & then, her Grandchildren. Enith sacrificed herself everyday by working 6 days a week, and then coming home to make a fresh meal for them. She never had, or made time for herself, never had a Girls Night out, or weekend getaways when she needed a break! She was a fierce, but extremely loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend & Neighbor. Enith was admired by so many in her Community… even until today. Enith was an extremely charitable person & taught her children to always help the less fortunate. Her Dream was to open an Orphanage to help Children & care for them herself. Although, she couldn't fulfill that Dream- She did make her American Dream come true! Enith is survived by her First born, her Right-hand Gal & Best Friend, Daughter Victoria, Son-in-Law Giovanni, and Granddaughter Isabel Sofia Garcia. Next, is her King & Pride, Son William, Daughter-in-Law Kathy, and Grandchildren, Christopher Luis, Brendan Michael, Vivian Rose, and Elizabeth Hope Parra. Then, we have her Favorite & Guard, Daughter Alexandra, and Grandson, Nicholas Alexander Acevedo- her Tesoro Moso. Finally, her Baby & Partner in Crime, Daughter Nicole, Freddy, and Grandchildren Giovanni Joseph, Anthony Jonathan, Tristan James, and Renée Jordan Maldonado. Enith is also survived by many Siblings, Cousins, Nieces & Nephews in her Beloved Country of Colombia & throughout the States. Visitation will be held at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home 43-07 Queens Boulevard Sunnyside, New York 11104 on Wednesday, March 13th from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Sebastian R.C. Church 58-02 Roosevelt Avenue Woodside, New York on Thursday, March 14th at 9:45am. A Private Ceremony at the Crematory of St. Michael's Cemetery will follow.
