Obituary of Zimrud Pauliuc

Zimrud Pauliuc died February 3, 2024, after a brief illness, at her home in Bedminster, NJ. She passed peacefully and painlessly, surrounded by her loving family at her bedside. Zimrud was born September 26, 1933, in Ci?in?u, Romania (now Republic of Moldova). Throughout her life, she was always a warm, kind, loving, dedicated and compassionate woman. People remember Zimrud for her passion for life and her incurable optimism, even in the face of tremendous adversity. Twice a cancer survivor, she never lost hope in life's purpose and meaningfulness, and always looked on the positive side of her experiences however good or bad they may have been. Zimrud was a dedicated wife to her (deceased) husband Michael, a loving mother to her son Gabriel and her daughter-in-law Judith, and a loving grandmother to Isabela, Andrea, Nicholas and Christopher. We will forever remember her warmth, love, tenderness, intelligence, wit and infectious zest for life and beauty. You will be forever our Maia. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6 from 10-12:00PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Service will be held 11:45 am on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing on Tuesday, February 6 at 1:00 pm.
