One of my greatest memories of Aunt Georgine, was when I was very young and was at Aunt Jackie & Uncle Lou's for one of the Holidays, I believe Easter and had Chicken Pox. I was sent upstairs to quarantine at Grandma & Grandpa's and the only one to not only come up to see me, but stayed and read with me for a long time, was Aunt Georgine! And as no good deed goes unpunished, she ended up getting shingles a few days later. Come to think of it, maybe that's why she used to always pull my sideburns! ;-) That memory as well as many others will stay with me forever! I know she's happy in Heaven with Uncle Fritz & the rest of the family & friends & will be watching over us as she always has. Luv and miss you Aunt Georgine! God has a new Angel. Kathy and Michael, it's been a while since I've spoken to your Mom; she holds a very special place in my heart. Your Mom "adopted" me as a daughter; she signed my birthday cards "Mom Gaida" and never missed one, even though I missed plenty of hers. "Mom Gaida" listened; she gave advice based on caring, faith, understanding, fairness and love. I believe she is at peace, reunited with your Dad in Heaven, walking together, seeing family, friends and hopefully my parents too. Prayers for you and your Guardian Angel. I know the challenges of the horrific road called "Grief;" I am here for you any time. Love, Francine.

To Kathy and Michael, my deepest condolences to you on the loss of your mom. I remember her very well, her kindness and her ability to make others feel welcome. You could talk to her about anything and she would not judge you. I was very fond of her and will miss her.
