Luz Meza (nee Caicedo) died peacefully at her home in Sunnyside on December 14, 2023. Luz was born December 2, 1936 in Cali, Colombia.

Beloved wife of the late Gerardo. Loving mother of Clara, Liliana (Fernando) and Henry. Cherished grandmother to Jerry Grafal, Nicole Grafal, Francesca Grafal, Anthony Moreno, Jessica Moreno, Christina Moreno and Kassandra Moreno, Kayla Meza, Cameron Meza. Dear great-grandmother to Danny Palacios Jr, Isaak Palacios, Jacob Palacios, Xzavier Mendoza, Delilah Mendoza, , Christopher Serrano, Alexis Lebron, Julian Lebron, Jeremy Lebron, Sophia Emme Meza, Quinn Lea Crawley, Hudson Ibrahim Khan.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 17 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street and Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale at 12:00 pm.
