Gerard J. Knapp died November 20, 2023 at his home in Woodside. Gerard was born May 22, 1936 in Bronx, NY. He served in the US Army, was a Police Officer with the NYPD, and a Commander with the Catholic War Veterans. Beloved husband of Bridget nee Kelly, Loving father of Jeffrey MacMullan, Mary Ellen Zerella and her husband Michael, Susan Knapp, Kirsten Knapp, and Bethany Stem and her husband Cory. Cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Carol Feery. Gerard is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 26 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:45 am on Monday November 27, 2023 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
