It was an honor to work side by side with Ms. Grace at Queens Public Library for the past several years! She was an amazing person and teacher with so much knowledge. I’ll remember her pure spirit, kindness and sweet personality. She always loved and spoke highly of her nephew - Francis and whenever he was in town she asked to leave work a little early to see him. When Grace got sick, I visited almost every week, texted, called etc. I’ll cherish the conversations we had, laughter and the prayers we said together. It makes me happy that Grace called me her “friend”. May she rest in peace with the Lord and Savior. ~Monique Russell

Grace was a childhood friend from Surigao City, Philippines. Went to school together from grade school to high school. Our parents were both educators and good friends. She was one of my best friends. When I found out that she was in New York also same as me, I tried to reached out with her, but unfortunately due to our busy life and schedules in New York we could not get together often, we only communicated by phone several times. I regret very much that I didn’t have the chance to let her know that I moved to Orlando, FL and would be impossible to see each other. I do miss her. My prayers go with her that she’ll find eternal peace in heaven with our God Almighty. May her soul rest in peace

Grace was an amazing friend full of empathy and kindness. We shared many wonderful meals together as Grace always was eager to explore new places! From the time I met her, as a teacher at HANAC more than ten years ago, Grace was a true friend. She gave me the most comfortable shoes to wear at work and was a wonderful listener. Grace was always there for me and I love and miss her very very much.

I have had the pleasure of working with Grace for the last six years. A kind heart and pure spirit are how I would describe her. Always pleasant and always wearing a smile. I saw Grace a few days before her passing, and I can honestly say she is at peace. May she rest in the arms of the Lord.
She will be truly missed by her colleagues at Queens Library.
Your friend Yeneika.

I had the honor of working with Grace at QPL. And she was a gem. She always had a smile on her face; and when ever I wasn’t at work she would sit at my desk. Sometimes she would text me she missed me or she would leave me little stickie notes. Her notes or text didn’t have to say much; but they always brought a smile to my face. Grace will truly be missed at the library.

Grace was a very special teacher, whose style was to embrace her students with sentience, while sharing her knowledge. She had a very special light, which she definitely owned. I am sure that she will help organize things at that big table in the sky. Shine on. Margaret Pemberton.

Tita Grace loved life. She lived it full of joy and vivacity. She took each day as an opportunity to live it to the fullest and she encouraged us to do the same. We will always remember her in our hearts. No more pain, rest in pease with the Lord Tita Grace. We love you.

I had the privilege of working with Grace for many years at HANAC. Grace always arrived with a smile, and never missed a Good Afternoon or Goodnight. She made sure to make us laugh, and see the positive in everyday worked.
Grace was one of a kind, and will truly be missed.
Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Forever in our Hearts.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with dear Grace for close to 7 years. Grace always had a smile on her face and had a contagious laugh that lit up any room she was in. She was one of the best and very dedicated teachers that HANAC had. All of Grace’s students loved and respected her. We will all miss Grace but she will be in our hearts forever. My deepest sympathies to all the family and friends. May God rest Grace’s soul and may her memory be eternal.

My last memory of Grace was dancing at the end of session party of our HANAC students last year. It was always easy to make her dance, laugh, and have fun. She’ll be fondly missed.

Marcos and I send our heartfelt condolences to Grace’s family. The Lord gave Grace a fitting tribute of her life by bringing her Home on Palm Sunday. We shall miss her constant presence at St Teresa parish, where she was a parishioner for many years. Eternal rest grant unto Grace, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace!

I have known Grace for about 25 years. We worked together at HANAC where she taught English as a Second Language. She was an incredible individual who was always full of life, laughter and fun. She was so proud of her family especially her nephew Francis whom she always spoke about. She was loved and admired by all her students and coworkers as well. I am so privileged and proud to call her my friend. Her memories and legacy live forever in our hearts and thoughts. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Lucy

We remember Grace as someone who knew how to celebrate and live the beauty of life. May she now celebrate with Jesus the Risen Lord in the Halls of Heaven.
To Panky, Dolly and Grace’s close friends who were with her on the last days of her life; we say: rest assured that “memories” of your love and kindness are not forgotten.
Please accept our prayers and condolences.
