Obituary of Jose Garcia

Jose (Pepe) Garcia died January 16, 2023 at his home in Long Island City. Pepe was born November 26, 1950 in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in July, 1980. He soon started working as a waiter in the Ramada Plaza Hotel at JFK Airport, and retired after nearly 30 years of service. Pepe is survived by his daughters, Sandra and Yuliet, and his grandchildren, Emily, Pepito, and Maycol. He has 4 siblings and many nieces and nephews. He was a good hearted person who loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by everyone. Visitation will be Friday, January 20 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer service will be held at 5:30pm. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, East Elmhurst.
