Obituary of Jean D'Altorio

Jean D'Altorio nee Tavarone, of Woodside, NY, died December 28, 2022. Jean was born September 5, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ. She was a long time parishioner of St. Teresa's Parish and an active member of the Church's Rosary Society where she helped to organize and participated in various events including fundraisers, dinner/dances, regular trips to Atlantic City and theatrical productions. Beloved wife of the late Vincent. Loving mother of Matthew D'Altorio and his wife Karen, and Christine Bailes and her husband Paul. Cherished grandmother of Michele and her husband Ryan, Kristen and her husband Ryan, Nicholas, Joseph, Michael and Thomas. Dear great-grandmother of Benjamin and Alyssa. Jean is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 2 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
