Martin J. Forde died on December 9, 2022 at his home in Woodside. He was born November 22, 1923 in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Martin was a retired Business Agent with the Carpenters Union Local #608. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Ruane). Loving father to Michael and his wife Mary Jane Forde, Mary Anne and her husband Bill Carroll and Noreen Murphy. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Deirdre, Megan, Kayla, Declan and the late Rory. Dear great grandfather of Baden, Kate, Michael and Conor. Martin is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, December 11 from 2-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 am on Monday, December 12, 2022 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY.
