Dear Shelia was a wonderful woman, she was loved by everyone. We worked together in Queen of Angles Rosarians she was so easy to get along with. Shelia will be missed. May she rest in peace.

Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and observed how the crowd put money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. A poor widow also came and put in two small coins worth a few cents. Calling his disciples to himself, he said to them, “Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury. For they have all contributed from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood.” Mk 12:41 -44. Sister Alico taught my class about this Gospel when I was in the 3rd grade. She asked us to think about anyone in our life who was like that and, BOOM, there's my Aunt Sheila right in my frontal lobe. Some people lead with their mouths, but this person led with her heart and actions, such that it left a permanent impression on a nine year old. The byproduct of her life is 5 of the most beautiful people anyone could ever know. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. Mrs. Sparling was one of the nicest and toughest woman I have ever known. In spite of her own large brood, she never hesitated to care for other children when the need arose. For that, I am eternally grateful. She also taught me all the words to so many songs! Rest In Peace, lovely lady.
