Mary (May) was a lovely person. Great Memories of our friendship during our time spent at the Tech in Manorhamilton Co.Leitrim all those years ago, especially Tomás Dwyer’s Irish classes.We kept in touch every Christmas and had the pleasure of meeting up during a trip to New York some few years ago. Rest in peace May Philomena Sheridan (Hennessy), Killargue & Cork Ireland

Auntie May will be forever in my heart and my memories. Her visits to Luton in the 80’s & 90’s to see us were always happy times. I cherish the times we spent together in Ireland over the years, talking about books, trees, taking walks and chopping wood for the fire. She had boundless energy, a work ethic that was second to none, and I will miss her very much. Fiona
