Obituary of Jeannett Garrett

Jeannett Garrett died April 1, 2022, at home in The Bronx. Jeannette was born May 29, 1957, in Buffalo, NY. Jeannett had a beautiful personality that impacted her community and family. She loved to cook and provided many delicious meals for her family and neighbors. She dreamed of opening her own food truck one day. Jeannett also sought-after education and participated in her local community events. She was a very caring and outgoing woman. Jeannett always had a smile on her face, loved to play games, and could fill a whole room with laughter and joy. She was a spiritual woman that had a strong faith in God. She studied the word of God and would always tell people to have a "blessed day" before parting ways. She's the loving mother of Benedict, Marvin, Martin, Roland, and Joseph Garrett. Loving grandmother of Patrick, Nayasia, Amarrah, Alaysia, Briana, Jordan, Royale, and Julie. As well as a loving great-grandmother to Makai Garrett. The dear sister of Sandra Montrose, Patricia, and Della Garrett. She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Julie Garrett, siblings Harry and James "Slim" Garrett, and children Nakia and Julie Garrett. Jeannett Garrett will be deeply missed by friends and family. Visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 9-11 AM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Forest Green Park, Morganville on Friday, April 22 at 1:00 pm.
