Obituary of Dionisio Marnelego

Dionisio Garcia Marnelego, age 72, beloved husband of Victoria Bongo Marnelego. Dionisio was born September 7, 1949 in The Philippines to Enrique Marnelego and Patricia Garcia. He comes from a family of six siblings (Benigno+, Artemio+, Adelina+) Enrique, Luisa and their spouses, nephews, nieces and cousins. His son, Christopher Marnelego and his wife, Jennifer Annette, their children August Lee, Summer Jean, Dallas Joe and Elle Dolly. He was lovingly called Lolo Bob by his grandchildren. He loved dancing, music and tennis. He loved to cook and eat, reading, watching tv and was most the compassionate, kind person and very understanding. Dionisio Garcia Marnelego passed away on April 6, 2022. He died peacefully beside his wife, Victoria, sister-in-law Solly Bongo and his best friend Pedro Valdez. Dionisio is free of his health challenges and has moved on to his eternal home where God's peace abides. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer Service will be held at 4:30PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:45 am on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. Sebastian RCC, 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY.
