Obituary of Julie May Mullane
Julie May Mullane (nee O'Sullivan), peacefully entered eternal life on Feburary 26, 2022 after a short illness. Julie is survived by her beloved husband, John Mullane of 40yrs. and their loving dog, Beara. Sisters Mary O'Sullivan, Scrivogue Beara Co. Cork., Cathy Sullivan, Bronx, NY. Brother Patrick Sullivan and his wife Angela, Stony Point, N.Y. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fidelma Mullane, Co. Galway, John and Evelyn Skehan, Co. Clare, Flan and Carol Mullane, Co. Clare, Mary Mullane, Co. Clare, and Mike and Geraldine Mullane, Co. Tipperary. Julie is preceded in death by her sister, Noreen Dowd. Julie was born to Denis and Margaret (Harrington) O'Sullivan in Killaugh West, Caheremore, Beara, Co. Cork, Ireland. Julie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In 1960, Julie arrived to N.Y.C where she became a Manager to Restaurants and had a successful career. In 1982 Julie married the Love of her Life, John, and resided ever since in Sunnyside Queens. John and Julie shared a passion of Irish Music, a quiet life and most of all escaping N.Y.C on weekends to their gorgeous country home in P.A.
Julie was loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 3 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY.
