Obituary of John Francis O'Brien
John Francis O'Brien died November 11, 2021 at his home in Woodside. John was born September 5, 1945 in Feakle, Co. Clare, Ireland. He retired after 38 years as a gravedigger at Calvary Cemetery. John was a proud member of the Co. Cavan P&B Association, United Irish Counties and AOH Division 4. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Reilly). Dear brother of Paddy in Ireland, Frank in Woodside, Joe in Westbury and Christopher in Yonkers. John is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the US and Ireland.
Visitation will be Monday, November 15 from 3-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
