Obituary of Michael Nigel Yoong

Michael Nigel Yoong passed away on July 28, 2021 at his home in Woodside. Nigel was born on April 18, 1977 in Stamford, CT and grew up in Millville, NJ. Graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He completed the Culinary Arts program at The International Culinary Center in NYC. He worked primarily in the financial industry. His last place of employment was Citco Fund Services (USA) Inc. as a manager on the Treasury team for Enhanced Middle Office. Beloved husband of Patricia Lee. Loving father of Michael Grayson Yoong. Nigel is also survived by his parents, Dr. Michael Yoong and Irene Yoong, sister Lynn Yoong, brother-in-law Neil McTeigue and niece Mia McTeigue. Nigel will be in our thoughts, in all we do. For nothing has the power to sever the ties of love that live on forever. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 3-7 pm at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc. 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Teresa Roman Catholic Church, 50-20 45th Street, Woodside, NY. The family has requested that everyone attending the visitation to please wear a mask.
