Obituary of Peter Uniowski

Father Peter Uniowski of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at the age of 70. Peter was born on September 9, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York. He served as a priest for the Diocese of Orlando at All Souls Church, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Anastasia, St. Teresa, St. Brendans and Pastor of St. John Neumann Catholic church. Upon retirement, Peter continued his life of service by providing loving care for his aging mother, Adelaide. Peter cherished his entire family and is survived by his six siblings, Christine Kiernan, William Uniowski, Victoria Madejczyk, Laura Fromal, Dorothy Zaros and Erika McFarland; 13 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews. Peter was a generous man who always put others before himself. He was loved by his family and friends and would help anyone in need. He was a huge Yankee enthusiast and a fan of Frank Sinatra and his music. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael in Long Island City, NY. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, NY. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17 from 6-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
