Obituary of John A. Maher

John A. Maher died June 27, 2021 in Long Beach, NY. John was born September 30, 1935 in Queens, NY. He was a Korean War Veteran, a Sales Traffic Manager for WPIX11-NYC and loved the NY Rangers. Beloved husband of the late Betty. Loving father of Patricia Venezia and her husband Anthony, and the late Mary Ellen Maher. Cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 am on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
